honestly the funny thing about this whole thing is that everyone went around forever sayin oh Norton will run Pound in the ground...well you know it wasn't as bad as everyone puts it. Now you tell me how you would have put up with it if you lost to us?!?! huh you would act almost the same...i say you play football for Norton...but no one has any reason at all to call us Rednecks...i think we had a lot of BS calls and i don't really agree with things that went on. and honestly we did hit the center and the center hit the QB.....no reason to say that we play dirty when everyone in this district plays dirty...included Norton.

I hated pound until this game. Now pound is like my number 2 for doing what they did to norton...

This has for the most part become stupid. What's the point of getting mad at each other, over something as small as this? Calling people names and being childish over the situation. Does it make your chest puff out and make you feel like your the baddest person on the planet? This has turned into a real joke.

I heard that it was called because wise had sophmores and juniors played against Pound I dont know though I wasnt there but this is what someone from wise told me.

I coach Jv at Rye Cove. We played Wise last Thursday. Wise called us on Monday and said they were only bringing 8-9 graders. They brought so many 10 graders it was pitiful. We still thumped them. RC jv 6-1 this year

Sorry I need to correct somethings. Ive just been notified about some players quitting the Wise team so they hd to bring 10 graders. I apologize since I hadnt been informed of this til now.

I think Pound people are always looked down upon and called rednecks. Maybe there are some rednecks in Pound and personally I do know of some but itis not right for anyone to judge a whole town as rednecks when most of them are not. You know how the saying goes you can't judge a book by it's cover.
